We offer Massachusetts State Police Approved Basic Firearm Safety courses which meet the Massachusetts requirement for obtaining your LTC - License To Carry Firearms or FID Firearms Identification Card
Our mission is to teach the proper attitude, knowledge and skills necessary for safe handling, storage and carry of a firearm. MA-LTC is located in Milford Massachusetts, specializes in Basic Firearm Safety Training. There is no shooting component for this class; safe gun handling and general safety knowledge are first and foremost when it comes to firearms. Those seeking a Mass firearms license must show proof of this training prior to applying for their license at your local Police Station. The certification course we teach is the National Rifle Association (NRA) Home Safety Course (LTC-007). This is the most popular course approved by the NRA and it is perfect for those with no experience with firearms! This course is great for Men and women alike. Upon successfully completing this course students will receive a Certificate of completion from the NRA in Home Firearm Safety (LTC-007) and a Mass State Police approved Firearms Safety Certificate.

Home Defense
Personal Protection In The Home Course
Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense.
Refresher Course
Refresher course includes: The basic firearm safety fundamentals; explanation of their design and necessity. Safe firearm storage. Basic Firearm types and basic firearms functions and design. Loading and unloading firearms; various types. Ammunition fundamentals. Cleaning and maintaining firearms. Firearms and the law. Basic fundamentals of shooting, posture stance and hand positioning. Transportation of firearms.
